We are a small travel house based in Tashkent. We arrange private journeys across Uzbekistan for travellers who would rather be looked after by someone who lives here. The cities we send our guests to are the cities we go to ourselves: Samarkand and Bukhara for a weekend, Khiva when the light is right, the Fergana Valley for a potter’s courtyard in Rishtan. We know which rooms face the courtyard, which train leaves at a civilised hour and which guide is worth waiting a day for.
Each journey is written by one travel designer, who stays with it from the first message to the day you fly home. We work with private guides, drivers and hotels we have chosen ourselves, and we would rather arrange fewer journeys well than many in a hurry. What we offer is time, access and people. The logistics are ours to carry, and you should barely notice them.

Rooms we have seen ourselves, from family-run courtyard houses in the old towns to business hotels in Tashkent.
Trains and flights
Seats on the Afrosiyob and on domestic flights, booked early, since the good departures sell out first.
Cars and drivers
Airport transfers and a comfortable car, minivan or coach with a driver who knows the road, whatever the size of your party.
Visas
We check the current entry rules for your passport and prepare the paperwork if a visa is needed.
